Inspired by the little treasures we find along our shorelines, this heirloom Starfish Duo brings together two hand-stitched sea stars, one big and one little, ready for a world of imaginary adventures.

Perhaps they're resting in a little rock pool, hiding amongst the coral or waiting to be discovered by a curious little explorer. From seaside adventures to magical underwater worlds, these little sea stars invite children to create stories of their very own.

A little piece of the ocean to treasure, long after the sandy toes have been washed clean.

Materials & Making

Slow-made by Mother-Artist Nicole in Queensland, Australia, using thoughtfully selected natural fibres.

• 100% pure wool felt, hand-dyed without heavy metal mordants

• 100% wool stuffing

• 100% cotton thread

A Note on Your Heirlooms

This listing includes two handcrafted Starfish, one large and one small.

There are just four Starfish Duos available in each style. Each piece is individually cut, stitched and embroidered by hand, making every little sea star uniquely its own.

The Starfish pictured are representative of the style you will receive. As each piece is handmade, slight variations in colour, embroidery and stitching are to be expected. The pair you receive may differ slightly from those photographed.

Where additional pieces are photographed together, they are shown to inspire storytelling and showcase the collection.

Care & Considerations

Designed for soft, gentle play.

Our hand-dyed wool felt is a delicate natural material and is best enjoyed with gentle hands. Pulling, stretching or rough play may damage the stitching, cause tears in the felt or affect the shape of your heirloom. Please handle with care to help preserve your little treasures for years to come.

Not suitable for children under 3 years of age due to small parts. Adult supervision is recommended.
