With her deep brown-black feathers, golden embroidered markings and striking crimson tail, she is made to nurture a love of Australia's wildlife, inviting storytelling, wonder and a lasting connection to the natural world.

Female Red-tailed Black Cockatoos are recognised by the golden speckling across their feathers and the warm orange-red panels beneath their tails. Their unmistakable calls echo through forests and woodlands as they travel in search of food, playing an important role in Australia's native ecosystems. Sadly, many populations are under increasing pressure from habitat loss, making these remarkable birds even more meaningful to celebrate and protect.

Each piece is carefully handcrafted by Mother-Artist Nicole using 100% pure wool felt to create a keepsake to treasure for years to come. Chosen for its softness, durability and timeless quality, wool is a natural fibre that is made to be loved for generations.
