Inspired by the gentle Dugongs of Tropical North Queensland, this heirloom mother and calf duo is designed to nurture a love of nature, inviting storytelling, wonder and a lasting connection with the natural world.

Often called the “sea cow”, the Dugong is the only strictly marine herbivorous mammal in the world, grazing on seagrass meadows throughout northern Australia’s coastal waters. Mothers share a close bond with their calves, who remain by their side for up to two years as they learn to navigate life beneath the sea. These gentle marine mammals are an important part of healthy coastal ecosystems.
